Akoya pearls, grown from Pinctada fucata oysters, were first cultivated in Japan and have represented refined beauty since the 1920s, remaining consistently popular while steadily increasing in value.
Directly sourced as a finished jewellery piece from the Japan International Jewellery Exhibition, these earrings combine exceptional Japanese Madama Akoya pearls with a clean, contemporary link design.
The earrings feature a distinctive two-part articulated structure. A slender S925 sterling silver hoop, fully set with sparkling cubic zirconia, connects to an elongated polished oval link below. The Akoya pearl is suspended at the base of the link, creating a modern geometric silhouette with gentle movement when worn. Measuring approximately 21.4mm in total height, the design has enough presence to be noticed while remaining refined and highly wearable.
At the centre of each earring is a highly matched 7.2–7.3mm Japanese Madama Akoya pearl in an exceptionally clear natural silver-blue tone.
